Since Thursday I've been drinking bunches of fruits and veggies. Today is the first day I have only consumed juice. I am doing what is called a "reboot." I am going to try to do this for up to 10 days! I am thinking I should have my first goal at 5. Right now I am drinking ...
ABCs
2 pears
2 apples
1 beet
1 cup cabbage
3/4 leaves of green chard
Not my favorite. My favorite so far was a mixture of apples, cantaloupe, honeydew, kale and chard. Probably because it didn't have a distinct taste of dirt like I am drinking now; it's the beet. Yuck!
For more info. go to fatsickandnearlydead.com If you go to their sight about juicing be careful. It's been having a hard time and my spyware had to stop me on certain pages. Hopefully they will have it fixed soon.

Juicing
As you can see I bought a bunch of produce. Those that know me, know that half of the produce sitting on my counter is not appealing to me at all! I do know that they are good for me. So I am going to start juicing.
I was able to finish my first meal. Not the greatest tasting, but I did it!
Apple, Beet, Carrot Juice
1 apple
2 beets
3 large carrots
1 piece of ginger
4 cups spinach/kale
Thanks to Missy for letting me borrow her juicer.

First Violin Lesson
Madi has been saving her money to do something. She was thinking of dance or basketball. Then she decided she wanted to take violin lessons. I waited awhile to make sure she wasn't going to change her mind. She never did.

AWANA Awards 2012
I am a proud mom. Both girls worked super hard this year memorizing verses of the Bible; not only did they finish their books they also finished their gold extra credit! To earn their extra credit, they completed 16 extra tasks like making a fruit of the Spirit puzzle out of something other then paper, read a historical Christian book and give a report, memorize 5 verses in Psalm 139, make a Bible reading schedule for 90 days, and review 32 verses by reciting them along with answering questions, all in one sitting. Way to go girls!!!!

Co-op Open House
Emma and I (Madi came on her days off) enjoyed our Home School Co-op we were a part of for half of the school year. Classes she took were Trip Around of the World, Sewing, Art, and Creation. On our last day we had a potluck and open house.
