Blowing The Gun

Today we went to one of our youth's track meet. This was the girls first track meet they've experienced. All in all they enjoyed it, except for the start of each race. Soon after the meet started, Madi said, "I don't like it when that guy blows the gun." I looked at her and said, "shoots the gun?" We all smiled and continued to watch the runners while Madi held her fingers in her ears.
