Last Friday I got a call from my dad telling me he had a slight stroke that affected his vision. The next morning I booked a flight at 8:30AM and left the house at 11:15AM. It was good to see him and give him a hug.
The doctor's office did not get on the ball in regards to testing, so Monday Mom and I pushed to have the tests done that day instead of Wednesday. The first test was not going well; they soon sent him right into the emergency room and admitted him. They found that he has atrial fibrillation. When you have atrial fibrillation it can cause a stroke. They are assuming that is what happened. Tuesday everything got under control and he is doing well. He is still in the hospital and hopes to come home soon. Through all this craziness, the Lord orchestrated timings perfectly. God is good.

I'm sorry to hear about your dad but I'm glad that he's doing so much better. Good job making sure that he was seen sooner rather than later.
We are praying for you. So glad you got to get out to him. I hope that when it's time for you to come home you have a tremendous about of peace about his situation.
