While my parents were visiting, we went to the Tracey Aviary. It was the first time for us all. Although there was construction we still had a good time...
We went to a show and Madi reluctantlly agreed to volunteer to feed a bird...

Both girls got to put weights on top of a chicken's egg. The weights were around 50 pounds but it didn't break. Then they sat a young boy plus the weights adding around 60 pounds. Finally they had Emma sit on it, breaking it. The chicken egg can hold up to 75 pounds, if I am remembering correctly (with nest protection).

This looks like an awesome place to visit and what a fun show they put on! :)
So good to hear from you, Dannika. It was fun. We saw so many birds that we have never seen before. I can't wait until they are done with construction; we will defiantly be back.
