Joel's Retirment Day at The Submarine Force Museum

Chris' friend, Joel, retired from the Navy after 20 years of service.  Thank you, Joel, for your service.  We are so glad that we got to attend the ceremony and spend time with you and your family.

Jen, Erin and Ashley were honored as well.

Madi and Ashley hadn't seen each other for 4 years, but instantly attached at the hip.

After the retirement ceremony and reception Chris and I took the girls around the grounds of the museum while other's got ready to go (http://www.ussnautilus.org/)...

The girls standing in front of the USS Nautilus, the United State's first nuclear submarine.  This was my second submarine that I got to go on as I was able to go on the USS Alabama years ago.  While we walked through the USS Nautilus, we listened to an automated tour guide (device is around Holly's neck in the picture below).

Inside the museum...

After, we went back to the house for a barbecue we went to Buttonwood Farms for Ice Cream (http://www.buttonwoodfarmicecream.com/).  I would say it is better then Winder Farms Ice Cream.

The girls still talk about Rainsbee and the family that we got to spend a couple of days with.
